What is a Micro Laser Peel™ procedure like?
The Micro Laser Peel™ is performed fast and effectively, therefore any discomfort that you might experience won’t last long.The procedurenormally takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the condition and the size of the area that is treated. A numbing cream may be applied in advance to aid with comfort during the procedure.
How many Micro Laser Peel™ treatments will I need?
Micro Laser Peel™ is typically done in a series of four treatments, spaced three to six weeks apart, depending on your needs. Your skin specialist may also combine Micro Laser Peel™ with a Profractional XC™ other popular aesthetic procedures to further enhance your treatment results.
What should I expect after the treatment?
Immediately after the procedure you may experience mild redness, resembling light sunburn. Redness can last for about 1 – 2 days. Depending on the depth of your Micro Laser Peel™ you will have mild peeling that will last for about one week.
Which special aftercare will I need?
It is important to follow our instructions, which may include some skincare products and instructions on how to use them. Your skin will be more sensitive to ultraviolet light after the procedure and you must therefore avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed. You should always use some level of sun protection to avoid sun damage and premature ageing of your skin.
