How many CO² Laser Resurfacing procedures will I need?
It will depend on the number or size of areas/concerns treated. Generally it takes one procedure to completely remove a skin tag. But sometimes they do need a 2nd or 3rd treatment to flatten completely. In the case where deep pigmentation is treated, it will take between 2 and 3 treatments. What should I expect after the treatment?
When small lesions have been removed, you can expect a small scab for a couple of days. This will fall off and heal quickly. All lesions heal quicker on the face, than on the body.
When bigger pigmented lesions were treated, it can take a bit longer to heal afterwards, especially if it was done on “off-face”.
Which special aftercare will I need?
It is important to follow our instructions, which may include some skincare products and instructions on how to use them. Your skin will be more sensitive to ultraviolet light after the procedure and you must therefore avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed. You should always use some level of sun protection to avoid sun damage and premature ageing of your skin.
