How can you be your own kind of beautiful?
At Dermology we start off with a very clear statement: Everybody’s skin is different, therefore everybody’s needs for their skin will be different. Therefore Dermology’s Halo Procedure have been adapted to fit YOUR needs. We treat what YOUR skin needs.
What does Halo treat?
- Sun Damage
- Big Pores
- Skin and Pore Texture
- Aging Skin
- Fine Lines and Wrinkles
- Uneven Skin Tone
Due to us just “living” our skin lose it’s youthful glow quickly when not treated correctly. Contributing factors to this: Sun Exposure and your body’s natural aging processes. Now what do we see on our skin when the above is not taken care of? We see sun spots we never had, Fine lines and wrinkles appear all of the sudden and our skin just starts to look down and dull. How does HALO fix this? New and Revolutionary Equipment has been developed and this ensures that we can treat the skin at that precise depth to eliminate above concerns… without going too deep or too shallow… and this equipment is called: The HALO!
General knowledge is usually: The better results, the longer the downtime. Shorter downtime, but with less improvement in the skin. The HALO ensures that we get best of both worlds!! GREAT RESULTS with Minimum Downtime.
What does the HALO do?
The HALO combines deep dermal rejuvenation WITH epidermal renewal to ensure an effect you can’t get with any other procedure.
What results can be expected?
Our aim here is complete skin rejuvenation. Improvements can be seen all over the skin in tone and texture, discolouration removal, improvement in fine lines, smaller pores and a healthy glowing skin!
How many treatments should you get?
We generally prefer to do around 4 of the HALO procedures. This ensures that you can get going, and do not have to cancel any functions. However, we do turn it up a notch in the case where you want quicker results, and don’t mind that extra bit of downtime. Again, Everybody is different, and therefore each skin gets treated individually.
What happens during a HALO procedure?
First a numbing cream gets applied (about 30min in advance) to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible. At Dermology, the procedure takes place over two days (5 days in between). Therefore one part can get done on a Monday, and the other part on a Friday.
What does the HALO procedure Feel like?
With the numbing cream, it will definitely be comfortable and manageable. Afterwards you can experience some heat on the skin, similar to severe sunburn. However this subsides within a couple of hours after the treatment.
How soon after having the HALO can I return to normal activities?
For the rest of the day you should just keep your skin clear of any dirt/sweat/stagnant water. However you can return to normal activities within 24 hours.
Results, when will I see results?
Everyone responds differently, however we generally see results around day 3 after the procedure. This all depends on the depth that was done, and also the amount of damage present at the time of the procedure.
A question we often get is: How long will my results last?
The results you get, is your new skin. This is not something that can be taken away from you. Our skin’s just age normal from there. However we do provide you with the tools to slow down the natural processes we go through: Sunblock is one of them.
