ProFractional XC™ for anti-ageing

Which conditions can be treated with Profractional XC™?

Profractional XC™can be used to improve the same wide variety of skin conditions treated by Fraxel, but with even fewer treatments:

-Lines and Wrinkles
-Surgical Scars
-Acne Scars
-Age Spots
-Sun Spots
-Freckles
-Ageing and Sun Damaged skin
-Crows feet

How does Profractional XC™ work?

Profractional XC™ uses laser energy to create thousands of microscopic channels in the skin which are surrounded by areas of healthy, untreated skin. The zones of untreated skin invigorate the body’s natural healing process, and the treated areas stimulate production of new collagen, plumping up the skin and smoothing out wrinkles, lines, scars and other irregularities. Profractional XC™is the latest and more advanced form of the first laser of its kind, Fraxel.

Who should consider a Profractional XC™ Treatment?

If you are looking for younger-looking skin or want to improve, wrinkles, or sun damage with a comfortable treatment and have fast recovery, then you may be an ideal candidate for Profractional XC™. Ask your skin specialist if Profractional XC™ is right for you. If you liked Fraxel, you will LOVE ProfractionalXC™.

Which areas can be treated?

Most skin areas can be treated. Popular areas to treat are wrinkles and lines on the face, neck, chest, hands, and lines around mouth and crows feet. You should discuss your needs with your skin specialist.

What is a Profractional XC™ procedure like?

Thanks to advancements in fractionated laser technology, Profractional XC™ is a faster and more comfortable laser than the first laser of its kind, Fraxel. The procedure normally takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the condition and the size of the area that is treated. A numbing cream may be applied in advance to aid with comfort during the procedure.

How many Profractional XC™ treatments will I need?

Profractional XC™ is typically done in a series of four treatments, spaced three to six weeks apart, depending on your needs. Your skin specialist may also combineProfractional XC™ with a micro laser peel or other popular aesthetic procedures to further enhance your treatment results.

What should I expect after the treatment?

Immediately after the procedure you may experience mild redness, resembling light sunburn. Complete healing takes about one to three days and most patients can get back to work and apply make-up within one to two days after the treatment.

Which special aftercare will I need?

It is important to follow our instructions, which may include some skincare products and instructions on how to use them. Your skin will be more sensitive to ultraviolet light after the procedure and you must therefore avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed. You should always use some level of sun protection to avoid sun damage and premature ageing of your skin.
