Rosacea is so common these days. We see this concern on a regular basis and have developed an effective plan of action to improve this concern. This concern generally starts off with mild redness or blushing, and can spread from the nose and cheeks to the rest of the face and even the neck and chest.
Nothing announces the onset of middle or old age quite like Rosacea can. Rosacea is a persistent, inflammatory skin condition which usually affects the face, producing tiny red, pus-filled pustules.
This condition usually makes its appearance on the faces of individuals after the age of thirty where it makes its presence on the nose, chin, cheeks and forehead, and at times even on the chest and neck area. Visible blood vessels can appear over time; furthermore the condition could come and go from time to time.
There are no quick fixes but a smart combination of deep skin cleaning; the right skin products for your skin as well as laser treatment will ensure that this condition has the correct treatment.
Rosacea does not only cause redness. Because of all the different signs and symptoms that this concern creates, it has been divided in four different categories:
- Facial Redness/Flushing and Visible Veins
- Redness accompanied with Acne-like breakouts
- Redness associated with Thickening Skin
- Rosacea affecting the eyes
In general, Rosacea affects the age group of 30 – 50 years of age. The lighter skin types generally have a bigger chance of developing Rosacea. Inheriting this concern is a possibility, especially if you have a family history of Rosacea. Woman is more likely to suffer from Rosacea, however when men get this concern, they get severe Rosacea.
The redness seen is because of inflammation of the blood vessels in these areas. Rosacea is often mistaken by being diagnosed for eczema, acne or some other skin allergy.
