The South Beach Peel is recommended for those who have a function coming up in a couple of weeks or months’ time. This procedure does not only clear your skin and give it a kick-start to life, but it also heals your skin.

A big myth going around is: Too much laser thins out the skin. This is not true! We have over 15 years’ experience in the business, and has never come across thin skin due to too much laser. In fact, we thicken thick, crepey skin WITH laser.

The South Beach Peel can get done on any day of the week, depending on your lifestyle.

Straight after the South Beach Peel, your skin will feel hot (like sunburned) for about 2 – 3 hours post the procedure. Some people experience heat longer than others, however this is completely normal. The skin will start to go very dry within the next day or 2, then it will start to peel. The peeling process can last anywhere between 3 and 6 days, depending on the health of the skin.

The South Beach Peel can take up to 1 hour and 15 minutes, this includes the 30 minutes numbing process. We apply a numbing cream before the procedure to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible for our patients.

We do around 4 of the South Beach Peel Procedures, however everyone is different. Everybody responds differently and heals differently.

With the numbing cream, the procedure is completely bareable, and the patient does not experience discomfort.
