The basis is a mixture of eight selected herbs containing enzymes, minerals and vitamins, which are massaged into the skin. Each Green Peel is customized by making the following changes to each treatment:

-The amount of time the skin is massaged for.
-The amount of pressure that is added to the massage.
-The amount of signature herbs that are added to the Green Peel mixture.

Beauty to go (1min): Light pressure with no downtime.

Fresh up (1,30min- 2min): Medium pressure with no downtime to minimal flaking.

Energy (3min- 5min): Firm pressure with 2-3 days downtime of flaking and dryness.

Classic (8min-10min): Deep pressure with 5-7 days of downtime and peeling.

The Green Peel is mixed up and is massaged using constant circular motions into the skin. The top dead layers of skin are initially removed to assist the micro particles of the herbs can penetrate. Once the herbs have entered the skin they increase oxygen and blood circulation to correct, protect and regenerate the upper most layers of the skin.

As the herbs reach the deeper layers of the epidermis, the body indentifies them as foreign and will try to move them up and off of the skin as quickly as possible. This will in turn increase the natural production of skin cells, which is usually every 28-30 days to 5 days. This assists in lifting damaged skin and underlying congestion to the surface.

The Green Peel is a natural and effective way of treating the skin, however the potency of the herbs it is not always suitable for individuals at certain points in their lives or suffering with skin conditions such as:

-Pregnancy.
-Breastfeeding.
-Grade 3-4 Inflamed Acne.
-Rosacea.
-Roacutane/Oratane.
-Cortisone.

The Green Peel homecare kit was created to ensure that your skin is fully supported post treatment and to assist with your peel recovery. The kit includes miniature products such as herbal care lotion, special regulating/care cream and blemish balm. This should be enough to last you 2-3 days post peel and to be used again throughout your course of 3-4 Green peels.

The Green peel application is really quite comfortable as it has a scrub like sensation when massaged into the skin and can become slightly scratchy towards the end. The skin can often feel warm and tingle when post treatment masks and products are applied to the skin. Following your Green Peel 2-3 days post the skin will have an ‘electric’ feel as it’s the working energy of the herbs under the surface of the skin.

The Green peel can be done as frequently as every 2 weeks or can form part of a monthly peel programme. This is to allow the skin sufficient time to recover before your next treatment.
