Mia qualified as a Somatologist after completing a three-year Diploma in Somatology at the prestigious ISA Carstens Academy in Stellenbosch, where she also earned her international CIDESCO qualification.
Born and raised in Paarl, Mia has always had a passion for skin health and helping others feel confident in their own skin. Her personal journey with genetic freckles first sparked her interest in the world of skincare — inspiring her to learn more about skin conditions, treatments, and the science behind skin health.
Mia has gained valuable experience over the years working in salons and spas, where she developed her hands-on skills and client care expertise.
She also worked alongside a General Practitioner as a clinical assistant, further deepening her knowledge of medical aesthetics and skin health.
