What is BBL & How does it work?
BBL (Broad Band Light) is the most advanced non-invasive light-based technology commonly used to treat various skin conditions and concerns. BBL devices emit a wide range of light wavelengths, typically in the visible and infrared spectrum. This broad spectrum of light includes wavelengths that can be selectively filtered and adjusted for specific treatment goals. BBL systems can target specific chromophores in the skin such Melanin (Pigment) and Hemoglobin (found in blood vessels).
The chromophores in the skin absorb the light like a sponge to help break down pigmented and vascular lesions to assist in stimulating new skin production to reveal a newer and more brighter skin tone. Each BBL treatment is completely customizable and can treat multiple concerns in each session. Our patients enjoy this treatment as there is minimal downtime post treatment.
